We wish there to be as even and fair a competition as possible, so each contestant will have the chance to shoot twice, and the shooting shall be organized in waves as great as we can manage, mixing the realms of our competitors. In this way we hope to best reduce the chances of the whims of a foul wind lessening a great archer's score. Targets shall be set at a distance of thirty meters. Each archer will have two ends, each with three arrows and lasting the space of a quarter tick of the dial.
The targets are formed of ten rings, ranging from one point on the outside to a center ring of ten. Shots on the line will be awarded the lesser plus half a point.
The four highest scoring archers shall each be awarded a coinpurse, in honour of their personal skill and their nation and patron. The winner receives, in addition, a wreath of white roses to crown his Lady of choice our Queen of Charity and Grace.
The winner of our Lady competitors, shall be given her own crown of purple roses, and be our Queen of Strength and Skill, in addition to the glory and coins earned.
If you wish to compete in the archery contest, please give us your
